Case Study - LED Lights for Global Retailer

By 2010, LEDs were being created with a whooping 250 lumens per watt and today there are lights being created for specific breeds of livestock, including swine and poultry, as well as plants.

So when this vastly more cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative was proposed by our client to a leading retailer enabling them not only to brighten their display cabinets but also reducing their energy costs by a whopping 50% they were hooked. The challenge at that time however was the size, variety and locations of the stores. Nothing was standard about this project. Stores were located worldwide , with different size display cabinets and different lighting requirements.

The bespoke nature of this project made it an ideal fit for European Electronic Solutions project team. Working with the client and mapping the store locations we manufactured assembled and delivered over 2600 different store specific luminaire orders based on size and brightness worldwide within the installation timeline agreed with our client.
